For those who may not know, but care, I thought I would share some of the details surrounding her untimely death. There was September 11th and then there was November 11th, 2001. A Friday afternoon "Flu" sympton turned into bi-lateral (80% blockage in both lungs")
pneumonia, and she died 16 days later.

A "virual"pneumonia that mystified a staff of 12 different doctors.

We missed our 31st anniversary by three months, but I am grateful and fortunate for all the years we spent together. My sadness has turned to occaisonal madness as she misses the growth and development of her 4 grandchildren.

Physically fit, a reformed 20 year non-smoker, and a balanced diet nut, Leslie is a constant reminder that
not only is life so short, it should be lived daily.

Her ashes were scattered from a hot air balloon over the Charles Krug vineyards in Napa, California......she did like her wine!

What can I say about Leslie? I grew up with her. She is a part of all my gradeschool and highschool memories. Chrystal Lake was so small. About 20 of us went from kindergaten through highschool together with a few new kids every year. Leslie was always there, always sweet, always kind, always great. I shall miss her but I have wonderful memories of our growing up together. She is part of the best of my childhood.

I remember you too Rick, and thought when I heard you two had married, They are perfect for each other. This breaks my heart as how many of us can say we have been married 31 or more years.

Suzi and I are sorry to hear of your loss...life sure is short.  Glad you had those 30 some years and that they were good ones too. Our prayers are with you and your family.
