After two full days of non-stop visitors, and the chance to see his parents, sister, brother-in-laws, and nieces and nephews late last night, Ed passed away this morning 4/15/2009 at 7:37 a.m. His death was peaceful as he took his last few breaths surrounded by his wife, family and a few close friends.

Eddie and I spent some time together before I moved to Las Vegas in 1998 and in conversation Eddie said somethings to me about our time together as classmates and as adults that can only be reflected on as, "How wise he was beyond his years." Not only was Eddie Dent a good husband, father, person inside and out he was a really good friend!Which to me he will always be...

Although it has been some time since his passing, I feel that I must say that while I did not keep in touch with Eddie after graduation, I still have many fond memories of him during my years at CHS. He was a sweet guy who will be missed a great deal.
