Born May 12, 1971, in Mountain View, CA, Julie Lynn(Franklin) Pierce passed away in her sleep one week after her 35th birthday.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelby Lynn Pierce, age 7, of Auburn, CA; her
mother Isabel (Nelson) and stepfather Bob Sargeant of Cupertino, CA; father Mike
Franklin and stepmother Mary of Hagerstown, MD; sister Jill and brother-in-law
Bruce Ware of Auburn, CA; sister Ginger Murphy and nieces Kadie and Hayley
Murphy of Benicia, CA. Her grandparents were the late Alexandria and Oscar
Nelson of Kodiak, as well as uncles Donny, Jack, Archie and Sammy and aunt
Alma; plus aunts Marie Humphreys and Jean Zampa and several cousins, all of
California.
Ms. Pierce grew up in Cupertino, CA and graduated from Cupertino High in 1989.
She went on to attend San Jose City College where she studied to become a legal
assistant in Davis, CA. She also worked in property management.

Her family set up an educational trust fund for her daughter. Condolences may be
