Craig Uyeda

I have been in the restaurant business for a decade and then moved into the Pro Sports Market. I currently work with pro athletes and celebrities arranging appearances and autograph sessions.


The funny part is that when we were growing up I would Idolize these 49ers and now most of them are friends of mine and I know them as people and not those guys who were winning superbowls when we were kids. I worked for the Giants in 1989 and that was an experience going to the World Series that year.

I also work with charities in helping them to raise funds. I still am longing to get back into the restaurant business though. But I must say life has never been dull because I have been able to see and do quite a lot in my time away from high school.

I have not traveled the world as some might have but that is ok I don't really look forward to going out of the country much. I have been to most of the major sporting events. I have met some pretty interesting and famous people along the way too. I do like hanging out in Hawaii though just something about the islands is cool. But one of the things I love is that Entourage thing because it is fun to get caught up in that life because it is so surreal sometimes when you look back at it. I have some interesting time to look back on and forward to. I just had a autograph signing with new Warriors Star Monta Ellis and soon in month Stephen Jackson which are pretty big seeing as the Team is winning again. I just hope my 49ers can get to that winning attitude again so they can Win some more Super Bowls! I really don't waste too much time and or opportunites as last year I had a minor stroke and had a big time scare so I take the opprtunities to get in everything since tomorrow is not something we are promised in life. So appreciate what you have and your friends and family too. I am nearly 100% back but no little stroke will keep me back. I really just have fun in my spare time, going out to concerts or sporting events and or just plain hanging out and socializing which has become somewhat of my lifestyle. I really think that is where I am different than in High School. I was not that social from what I remember. But now I own this area.... What do ya wanna do! Everything is open to me just takes one phone call, I LOVE IT! Just like Turtle.

I know there are a lot of memories I'd like to forget but you know it was really the most care free time of my life even though I made it interesting at times but looking back. U2 in 1987 was my first concert and I have seen them every show here since then. I loved baseball for the two years I played. Love Freitas physiology class junior year. Voss was the best. The egg wars at montclaire and spirit weeks and the football games were fun. I would love to have it to do all over again because I love the game I would do things a little different though. By the way I still see John Franza from time to time and boy did he have my number in school I still tease him about all those trips to the office...... Also I run into Camuso too he still referees football on the high school and college level. BTW anyone that golfs the Homestead Tournament is on 03-31-08 at Cinnabar in San Jose....
