Nichol committed suicide not long after graduation. She is remembered by a fellow classmate as a very sweet girl.

Nichol was quiet too and she had some issues with mental illness throughout school. She was hospitalized in a psychiatric facility a few times, and one of the last times as a senior she met a boy in treatment with issues of his own. They maintained a relationship after she left the hospital, but the relationship was unhealthy and her parents tried to keep them apart. Unable to heal and move on, she took her own life.

Nichol was such a sweetheart and I remember her as a friend all thru High School. I was so sad to hear of her passing shortly after we graduated. RIP Nichol
