When I registered for the reunion a few months back, I didnt check out all the information thoroughly.  Just today I viewed the "In Memory" section and I was shocked to see that Dunelda had passed away.  I became friends with Dunelda in History class.  Lets just say my quiz and test papers were always in clear view if she needed that extra help and quite often she did.  She was the tough, surfer, party girl and me a jock.  Didnt really hang out through High School but she thanked me for all the help by making me a gift in woodshop class- Surf Art glazed on wood.

We reconnected about 4yrs after HS graduation and had great times. Huntington Harbor Red Onion, Via Marias, and Cowboy Boogie were some hot spots of ours.  We became roommates after I graduated from Dental Hygiene at Cypress College and lived in Irvine for about a year.

We parted ways when she moved in with her boyfriend telling each other we'd get together soon but you know how time flies.   I was sooo looking forward 2 seeing her at the reunion.

Im so grateful and blessed to have known Dunelda and her friendship will truely be missed.

Dunelda and I were friends growing up through High School. I had a crush on her bro when I was in 6th grade. Dunelda and I spent many days hanging out after school. One memory I will never forget was that her mom would watch SNL with us. They would show fake commercials and her mom would always think that they were the real thing. We would laugh so hard. I went to visit her mom at our 20 year reunion but was told that they had moved. I wish I could have hooked up with her after HS but she will remain in my memory forever.
