At age 24 Valerie was diagnosed with a rapidly spreading Breast Cancer. It was a few months after the birth of her 3rd child, her daughter that she found this out. I live 2 hrs. from Las Vegas I was able to travel to visit Valerie in Las Vegas Nevada 3 months before she passed away. Her kind husband called to tell me of her passing. He knew we had a close friendship. She married a very kind & caring man named Danny. She loved him with all her heart. Her 2 sons were her pride & joy. She was so excited to have her little girl even though she was only alive to watch her grow for 2 short years. Valerie & I wrote letters back & forth until the time of her death. When Valerie & Danny were Newlyweds they were on the TV show called the "Newly Wed Game". It was so much fun to watch them on that show.
