"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together". -Marilyn Monroe
What have I been up to since 1999....
I went away to school and earned a BA. I have worked in Social Services trying to play my part in helping the "least of these" (Matthew 25:40). I took a short hiatus from social services to give birth to the love of my life and to teach. I realized that teaching in the formal arena may not be for me. So, I am going back to social services.....Those who remember me know that I am always looking for ways to excel....I'm beginning a new chapter in my life. I have a career/job that I absolutely love! I'm finally back in school working on a MSCJ. In the words of Lil Wayne: "I dont fantasize, I master mind; then go after mine." I have nothing to complain about and everything to be grateful about!
~Gratefulness is flowing from my heart~
Keonna, remember we skipped school and went to your house and your mom came home??? LOL
Our senior year, we lost the South Dallas Super Bowl. My boyfriend, at the time, was the star ofr the opposing team. I remember some of the football boys telling me to do what I could to make sure that my boyfriend was not at his best the day of the game. Because I love Lincoln, I tried but my boyfriend peeped game. Needless to say, we lost. Thanks to the class of 2000, we got our trophy back.
