Raymond was a dear friend. I set him up with Sue Chandler in HS and they married had 2 kids.
Raymond went to Vietnam in the Army and was exposed to agent Orange and he died of pancreatic cancer at a young age.
His first name was really Zeno, but he only went by that after he entered the business world. My husband Charlie ran into him on one of the Delta flights he took out of Atlanta. Charlie was the pilot and Raymond sent his card to the cockpit to say hello. Charlie could not place him as Zeno Smith, only knew him as Raymond.
I think of you often, Raymond, and know you are in a very good place
Raymond and Sue lived a couple of blocks away from Sharon and I in Mesquite. Raymond liked to fish. Do I have some stroies about fishing with Zeno. They went with us to visit my parents in Little Rock one year to get away from eveything for a while. I remember Raymond breaking boards as he took Karate lessons while at Sunset. Raymond laughed all over when he heard something funny. He was a good friend and is still missed.
