Forrest lived behind me.We never said anything but hello. Then one evening he won a dinner for 2 at the Hawaiian Restaurant at Love Field Airport. He called me and asked me to go. When I said yes, he said " That's great because Corliss said No" . Of course I went! Free dinner, fancy restaurant, and taxi. What's not to like. Too bad he was so shy. Hardly any words were spoken, but we always had a smile for each other. Corliss, you diva, you missed a great meal where you and I would hang out and speak French.
