Anthony gave me my first motorcycle ride; we were both 13.  He was so proud of his red Mustang motorcycle!  I promptly burned my leg on the tailpipe - a rite of passage!

I ran into Anthony years after highschool at my son's daycare center.  My car was stalled and true to the gentleman he was, he helped get it started.  During our conversation we realized we had been classmates and friends at both Sunset and Stockard.  We also discovered through our conversation that day that he and his family lived only a few blocks from me and my family.  We had sons the same age as well as daughters the same age.  My husband and I became quick friends with Anthony and his family, my husband assisting in pee-wee football coaching for the boys, Anthony was the coach.  Our children became friends quickly and we had several years of true friendship until my husband was transferred to another state with work.

Unfortunately with our children being involved in many activities and the grind of day to day living, we lost contact after my move.  Still, I will always remember those times with joy and happiness.  He was a very nice guy and had a great family.  I pray all are well and full of only happy memories of the past.
