In Memory

Barbara Butler (Bishop)

Barbara dealt with the complexities of rheumatoid arthritis for many years. She suffered many operations, but did not complain. She even gave speeches, full of optimism, to fellow sufferers. She was resourceful and maintained her sense of humor. She died after a final operation in which the doctors decided it was best to cut off her leg. Alas, 'tis true.

Survived By: her sons her mother Patsy Butler

We lived across the street from age 4 or 5.  Barbara was a part of our family, always ready for any adventure. She had a spark and a great sense of humor.
