Robert A. Horton died Sept. 8, 2018.  He attended Dan D. Rogers and Hillcrest HS.  He was an Air Force veteran who spent a lot of time in Panama City, FL working on airplanes.  Robert and his wife Sallas of 48 years met thru his uncle in New Orleans.  When in their 40’s, they sold all of their belongings, bought a sailboat and spent 2 years sailing around visiting many countries, living the good life & making memories. He was a real estate agent. Sally was a physical therapist, now retired.  They settled in Bastrop on 10 acres with several standard poodles.  There will be a Memorial Nov 15th on his 71st birthday.
