Thomas Edwin Oliver

Thomas Oliver, 61, of Baytown , passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Houston.

He was born July 4, 1947 in Dallas to his parents, Tom Oliver and Faye Malone Oliver. He had lived in Baytown since 1975 and was an accountant with Bentley-Bratcher and Associates. He was a member of the Baytown Lions Club, served as Vice-chair of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and was a committee member on the State Board of Public Accountancy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his father, Tom Oliver and father-in-law, Robert Morse.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Oliver of Baytown; daughters, Lisa Oliver Bryant of Sugarland and Laura Oliver Kennedy and her husband Roland of Lafayette, Louisiana; mother, Faye Oliver of Pasadena; brother, Ronald Oliver and his wife Debbie of Pasadena; grandchildren, Sara Bryant, Trace Kennedy and Brayden Kennedy and mother-in-law, Ellen Morse of San Antonio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Beverly Tune officiating.
