Beth Annette "Punkin" Porterfield, age 66, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 18, 1947 to Thomas Joe and Mary Beth Porterfield. Beth was a teacher at Lake Highlands High School.
She is survived by her siblings, Jody Porterfield and wife Lisa of Longview, Texas, Jimmy Porterfield and wife Cindy of Allen, Texas, Betsy Passarelli and husband Mark of Garland, Texas and Brenda Rinn of Plano, Texas; nieces, Christy, Tracy, Brandi, Jennifer, Natalie and Amanda; nephews, J.D., Jack, John, Joe, Jason, Shane, Josh and Travis; a host of other loving family and friends.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Beth Porterfield.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Forest Grove Community, Texas. Family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
