Diane and I were friends all of our lives. She was smart, funny and creative. Most of her adult life was spent teaching piano. She and her husband lived in North Carolina for years but returned to Dallas 7 years ago.
I will miss her very much.
I met Diane in elementary school and remained friends through HS. I spent a lot of time at her house listening to her beautifully play the piano (Chopin's Polonaise was my favorite). In the Summer we would to the Holiday Inn which her mother managed, so we could use the pool. After college years, she published a book of her poetry and sent me a copy which I still have. So many fond memories with her. She will be missed.
