Carlton "Elmer" Bradley - EHS Class of 1970
Mr. Carlton “Elmer” Bradley, age 66, of Dalton, Georgia, entered Heavens gates Tuesday March 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 21, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton “Sonny” and Bessie Bradley, mother-in-law, Betty McPherson, father-in-law, James Bailey, brother-in-law, Lamar Bailey, aunts, uncle and cousins. Carl dedicated his whole life into helping others, he clothed the homeless, fed the hungry, gave rest to the weary, mentored misfits and loved with a servant heart. He never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, daddy and pawpaw.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Donna Gail Bradley of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Steve Silvers, Regina Durham and James Nix; grandchildren, Ian Bradley, Amber Mull, Hunter Bradley, Bryson Durham, Brandon, Logan, and Chloe Nix. Great Granddaughter Zoey Mull aka “Princess Turd”. Brother and sister in law Jerry and Lavonna Bradley; sister Susan Bradley, and sister in laws Patty Joyce and Mendy McPherson Rogers all of Dalton. Nephew Mark “Smiley” Bradley, niece Tera Harrel. Great Nephews and Nieces Chaise “Chaiser” and Summer “Rosie” Bradley and their mother Christy Bradley and Braxton and Annie Mae Harrel. Special Friends “ Danny Mac” McCallister, Bo Rolen, Billy Jack, Danny Johnson and many cousins and life long friends .
The family would like to thank his nurses Ashleigh, Kim and Chris and all the staff at Amedysis Hospice. Also special thanks to Troy Jordan.
