David Mark Cline, 44, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996.
He was a teacher at Northwest Whitfield High School and a member of Fort Oglethorpe Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Massey Cline; parents, Harlan and Violet Oveby Cline of Dalton; stepson, Stephen Gordy of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brother, Stephen Cline of Dalton; three sisters, Linda Clayton, Wanda Cline and Jane Underwood, all of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Fort Oglethorpe Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Scott officiating.
Burial was at Garmany Cemetery in Kensington.
The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Brain Tumor Association.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.

Linda Cline (Clayton) (1972)
David was a teacher who touched many of a life. He taught the advance math classes. David had a brain tumor, and he fought a rough battle but it got him. He is missed by many. But in our life we have certain people who stands out and David was that person. He was my Hero!! I miss him so much, but he lives on in many of a person life. Linda Cline Clayton (sister)
