LaFayette - Clara Elizabeth Burkett Norman, 50, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at her residence.

A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area she was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and an employee of Shaw Industries where she worked for 25 years.

She is preceded in death by father, Carl Burkett; and brother, Lloyd Burkett.

She is survived by husband, Ronald A. Norman of LaFayette, Ga; mother, Lomie McIntire of LaFayette; daughter, Selina Baker of Chatsworth, Ga; stepdaughter; Cindy Norman of Chattanooga; three sisters, Lois Hewitt of Tunnel Hill, Louise Walls of Chatsworth and Geneva Stinson of LaFayette; granddaughter, Lorin Baker of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dalton, Ga.

The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. today and until funeral time Monday at the funeral home.
