Tony Lee Howard, age 59, of El Paso, Arkansas, and formerly of Dalton, GA, departed this life at his residence August 30, 2011.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Mathis Howard, and brother, Jerry Howard.

Tony is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kathy Howard of El Paso, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Megan Eggensperger of Ft. Campbell, KY; daughters and sons-in-law, Brooke and Evan Clausen of Springfield, MO, Rachel and Daniel Prouse of Cheboygan, MI; brothers and sister-in-law, Randall Howard of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth and Tracy Howard of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Donnie Cooper; special aunt, Ophia Byers of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Brent, Molly, Braxton, Julie, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Tony Lee Howard will be held Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home.  Bobby Resnick, Floyd Byers, Evan Clausen, Dustin Eggensperger, Michael Byers, Ronald Byers and Steve Howard serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday September 5, 2011.
