Donna Karen Burkett

Donna Karen Burkett, age 60, of Flintstone, Georgia, passed on Sunday, August 17, 2014.  She was born on November 12, 1953 in Dalton, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Burkett; and her 2 year old granddaughter, Trinity Ella Bryson.

Donna is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Crystal and Marcus Elsberry of Flintstone, and Stephanie Burnside of Dalton; mother, Pauline Phillips of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Tena and Bobby Ivey of Dalton, Sheila Oliver of Rutledge, GA.; grandchildren, Kirsten, Mackenzie, Kyleigh, Austin, Brooke, and Chasity; and her beloved dog Nikki, that never left her side.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Donna Karen Burkett will be held at 9:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.                                                                                               

The Family will be receiving friends for visition from 5:00 PM til the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated.
