Mr. Charles Milton Bartley, 58, of Dalton, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, in Murray Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mayo Bartley; and grandmother, Martha Cockburn.

Survivors include his daughters, Christy Bartley Defore; and husband, Chris Defore of Dalton, and Ashley Smith of Dalton; granddaughters, Leeambrea Defore and Chayden Smith of Dalton; grandson, Bronston Smith of Dalton; mother, Lorene Bartley of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grady and Loretta Bartley, William and Shelby Bartley, all of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and Oscar Walker of Dalton, Mary Nell Brindle of Chatsworth, Rhonda Baker of Dalton, Brenda and Frank Caywood of Valdosta, and Maggie Frady of Chatsworth; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon until the funeral hour at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charrge of the funeral arrangements.
