Dyann Chaney

Mrs. Dianne Chaney Grissett, 48, of Stockbridge and formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday, Jan 20, 1999, in the Emory University Hospital in Decatur.

She was the daughter of the late William Timothy "Bishop" Chaney and Sallie Mae Blackwell Chaney.

Survivors include her husband, Chief Warrant Officer Bernard Grissett of Stockbridge; two daughters, Kisha Ray Livingston of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Juannee "Duchess" Miller of Dalton; two grandchildren; four sisters, Renee' Bowie, Anna Blalock, Elfrida Banks, all of Dalton, and Juanita Wright of Atlanta; one brother, Michael Chaney of Dalton; aunts, uncles, father-in-law, mother-in-law, Mr. Roosevelt and Mrs. Woodie Mae Grissett of Myrtle Beach, S.C., sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with the Revs R.E. Henley, Jerry Jones and other ministers officiating.  Flower bearers will be classmates, and casket bearers will be classmates and officers of the church.

The remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
