The Unforgettable Memory of Ms. Juanita Chaney Wright

"And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ." I Timothy 3:5

"It's not the things that can be bought that are life's richest treasures; it's just the little "heart gifts" that

money cannot measure.  A cheerful smile, a friendly word, a sympathetic nod, all priceless little treasures

from the storehouse of our God."

Ms. Juanita Chaney Wright was a channel of love to her family, friends, and all the people whom she came in contact.   The angels came for Juanita on Thursday, May 17, 2012.  We loved her, but God loved her best.  We will miss her sweet, thoughtful, and caring personality with her glowing radiant smile.

Juanita was born to the late Mr. William T. Chaney and Mrs. Sally Mae Blackwell Chaney in Dalton, (Whitfield County), Georgia.  One sister, Mrs. Diane Chaney Grissett and her grandson, Gabriel Jalen Graves have preceded her in death.

She graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1970.  She attended Dalton Junior College and earned a Nursing Certificate.

By confession of her faith, Juanita united with Mountain Ridge Baptist Church while Rev. R.E. Henley was the Pastor.

Juanita was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Keona and Kandice.  She was formerly married to Mr. Emanuel Wright.

During her life Juanita worked at G.T.E., Alltel, Suntrust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, Mohawk Carpets, and lastly with Prime Care Nursing Service.  Music, reading, dancing, and watching television were her favorite pastimes.  Her family shared a special bond.  Juanita persevered during her times of illness.

Those who remain in her afterflow are her two daughters, Mrs. Keona (Anthony) Graves of Lawerenceville, Georgia, Ms. Kandice Wright; ex-husband, Mr. Emanuel Wright of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Mrs. Renee Bowie, Mrs. Anna Blalock, Mrs. Elfrida Banks; one brother, Mr. Michael Chaney; aunts, Mrs. Maggie Smith, Mrs. Susie Blackwell, Mrs. Catherine Blackwell, Mrs. Mary Gueno; special friend, Mr. Walter Weaver, all of Dalton, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Service: Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Willis Funeral Home Chapel at 2011 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in Dalton, Georgia.  Rev. Thomas Hall, Presiding; Eulogist, Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr.
