Danny L. "Bear" Smith, 56, of Dalton, Ga., died Friday, Jan 28, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Clifford and Jewell Barker Smith and was also preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Smith.

Danny is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Danette and Scott Kinzel of Chatsworth; grandchild, Ethan Kinzel of Chatsworth, aunts, cousins and many special friends.

Memorial services will be Sunday, Jan. 30 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wood officiating.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 30 from 2-4 p.m.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, 4439 Tibbs Bridge Rd., Dalton, Ga. 30721 or to one's favorite charity.
