Logan Funeral Home and Chapel announces the death of Mr. Wayne Aaron Payne, 47, of Chatsworth Highway, Ellijay, who passed on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at the North Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Fields.

Survivors include daughter, Amber Payne of the home in Ellijay; step-daughter and son-in-law, Melinie and James Sluder of Ellijay; grandchildren, Kyle, Kain, and Lexie Sluder; and special friends, Diane, Justin, and Breana Sanford of Ellijay.

Mr. Payne is preceded in death by his wife Marie Mulkey Payne.  The family will receive friends on Thursday starting at 2 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home.

Logan Funeral Home and Chapel of Ellijay is in charge of arrangements.
