Kim Suit - Class Of 1978

Mrs. Nancy "Kim" Luna, 47, of Dalton, departed this life Tuesday morning, April 17, 2007, at Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe.

She was born in Gary, Ind., on March 25, 1960, to Helen Messer Suit of Dalton and the late Cling A. Suit, Jr.  Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cling Suit, Sr. and Velma Suit, Clutcher Messer and Miney Conner.

Mrs. Luna is survived by her sons, Zane Arthur Luna and Gregory Whitmire; mother, Helen Suit; brother, Eddie Suit, all of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda and David Terry of Chatsworth, Marie Bishop of Dalton and Cherie Glassco of Cohutta; nieces and nephews, Matthew Suit, Tim and James Elder, Christina and Joshua Bishop and Caitlyn Glassco; special friends, Carmen and Dwight Souther.

Services are today at 2 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.

Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Scott Suit, Tim Elder, Johnny Mulkey, Evan Souther, David Moore and Tim Tarmon.

The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Georgia Transplant Fund, 3125 Presidential Parkway, Atlanta, GA, 30340.
