Paul Franklin Prattt

Paul Franklin Pratt, his wife, Sherry Lynn Pratt and their grandson, Corbin Swann, went to be with their heavenly father on Monday, March 3, 2014.

Paul was the son of the late Charles Thomas Pratt and Juanita Stewart Pratt, and he was preceded in death by a son, Delane Pratt.

He was a minister for 45-plus years and was the assistant general overseer for the Church of God of the Union Assembly. He also was the pastor of Bessemer Church of God of the Union Assembly in Bessemer, Ala.

Paul is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Stephanie Pratt of Maryville, Tenn., Marcus and Marta Pratt of Corryton, Tenn., Paul and Cynthia Pratt of Maryville, Ryan and Ashley Pratt of Hamilton, Ohio, and Matthew and Dawn Pratt of Boaz, Ala.; daughter, Rachel Pratt Swann of Attalla, Ala.; sisters, Irena Branson of Rocky Face, Melissa Hill of Dalton and Sandy Wilson of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Lloyd Pratt of Rocky Face; 15 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Church of God of the Union Assembly with Brother Kenneth Sisk and Brother Davis Simmons officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
