Mr. Charles Drennon Garrett, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Charles was born June 20, 1952 in Dalton, GA., a son of the late Ernest and Edith Lowry Garrett.  Charles was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Garrett; brothers, Paul and Robbie Garrett.

Charles is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda garrett, Amy Garrett of Dalton, GA, Ruby Ann and Jerry Shepherd of Plainville, GA.; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Ann Garrett of Dalton, GA.: grandchildren, Kelly Williams, Danny Williams and Drennon Garrett.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Drennon Garrett will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Green officiating.  Interment will be held at the Corinth Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 5: p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
