Roger Lee Roach, age 59, of Rocky Face, born January 13, 1954, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter L. Roach; grandparents, Harvey and Lorie Barden and Dan and Naomi Roach.

He is survived by his daughter, Candy Roach of Cartersville; step-daughter, Amanda Hartley of Dalton; step-son, Shane Curtis of Tunnel Hill; Mother, Wilma Barden Phillips of Dalton; brother, Harvey Roach of Rocky Face; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Roach will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013  at 3:00 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Curtis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 12:00 noon till the service hour at 3:00 p.m.
