Mr. James Clyde Barrett, 68, of 623 Hill Road, died Thursday afternoon at 12:25 in Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Veta Kay Barrett of Dalton; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Keeler, Mrs. Nellie Davis and Mrs. Barbara Brock, all of Dalton; two sons, J.C. Barrett of Tunnel Hill and Ron Barrett of Dalton; six sisters, Mrs. Ida Gregory, Mrs. Lucy Stroud, Mrs. Fay McConnell and Mrs. Christine Day, all of Dalton; Mrs. Ruby Lovell and Mrs. Mazie Walls, both of Hiwassee; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurman Hightower officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery with Love Funeral Home in charge.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this afternoon.
