Mrs. Veta Kay Barrett, 68, of 623 Hill Road, died Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the Hamilton Medical Center.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Keeler, Nellie Thomas and Barbara Brock all of Dalton; two sons, J.C. Barrett of Tunnel Hill and Ron Barrett of Dalton; one brother, Harley Anderson of Hiwassee, Ga.; one sister, Esta Jackson of Hiwassee, Ga.,; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. from West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Jackson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Voluntary Action Center for the Lifeline Project.

Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
