Donald S. Hallas, 56, of New Milford, husband of Laurie (Amick) Hallas, father of Trevor, Justin and Amanda, son of Frederick and Marie and brother of Gordon (Kerilynn), Gregg (Karen) and Debbie (Hallas) McLachlan (William), died on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Regional Hospice Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield, Interment will be private and at the direction of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
