Ana Victoria Little

Anna Victoria “Vickie” Little, 21, a former member of the track team at Danbury High School, of 48 Lincoln Ave., Danbury, died Wednesday morning, May 22, 1985 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Hartford, after a brief illness.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., June 17, 1963, daughter of James H. and Gladys Johnson Little of Danbury. A Danbury resident since 1965, she attended Park Avenue and Hayestown Avenue elementary schools, Rogers Park Junior High School and was a 1981 graduate of Danbury High School.

Miss Little was a nursing student in her junior year at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. She was a member of the UConn track team, having received athletic scholarships. Miss Little was also a member of the Danbury Chapter of the NAACP.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, William H. and Constance Little of Robersonville, N.C.; two brothers, Willie J. and Lamont, both of Danbury, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church, Danbury. The Rev. William J. Hooker, minister, will officiate.
