Oh, Jamie Adams. We met in 7th grade when we had science together with Mrs. Phillips. He got on my nerves so much. Over the years, we became good friends. Throughout high school, he would always aggravate me saying that I was going to be the next Richard Simmons.
Our senior year, as we were getting ready to graduate, some of my friends wrote my "Where would I be in 5 years" or whatever that all the seniors do. when it was published, I was so upset because what was published for me was NOT what I had turned in. What was turned in was talking about me becoming the next Richard Simmons, etc... I thought and thought, and could not think of who could have done this. Finally, someone told me that Jamie had wrote it and turned it in.

I found this out after he had passed away. My feelings about being the "next Richard Simmons" changed because that was always something that Jamie teased me about. NOw, I would be able to remember him and his "jokes".

I still remember the day of his funeral, especially whenever I hear Tim Mcgraw's "Please remember me" because that was the song that was playing when we all marched out of the funeral chapel. It's been over 9 years now, and I still remember Jamie Adams.

Learning of Jamie's passing was very upsetting to me. Jamie was one of my best friends throughout my time in school. He, Ryan, and myself would do Saturday Night Live skits for everyone in class, make jokes to make each other laugh, or laugh about Dr. Clark and his Status Quo.

Jamie would bring us divine treats from his family's chocolate shop each week. Jamie was one of the most kind and caring human beings I have ever known. It was a pleasure to spend my school days with him and be great friends. I still think of him all the time and all of our fun memories. Although it still saddens me that he is gone, I will always remember and think of him.

I know that such a wonderful person must be with our dear Lord in Heaven.

My best memory of Jamie was when Tony Mosko and I convienced him to take him hummer off road across the street from the highschool. This was when they were clear cutting the land to build the ball fields that are now there. He was so nervous that his parents would be so mad if he got a mark on it. After we got back I could tell he was glad that nothing happened to the hummer but also glad he did it.

He was one of the sweetest people I know and will ever know.

Jamie you will be missed!
