I went to grammar school at Ila with Beverly. I am sorry to hear of her passing. She was a beautiful girl.

My family moved to Pocataligo (not Ila) from Atlanta when i was going into the 7th grade. I recall meeting Beverly in that she seemed quite tall and as Carol said, a beautiful girl. She had a very outgoing, full of life personality and i was quite taken by her demeanor and beauty. Naturally, as a i stupid guy, i responded to her dynamic personality by picking fights with her...;o)

In the early stages of the reunion planning, i googled many classmates, including Beverly, but could not find her. I finally connected with Henryetta, not to discuss political views, but to find out about former mates from Ila.. Much to my shock, i discovered Beveraly had passed several years earlier from cancer.

Even after all these years, i was and am  very saddened by her passing. I was very much looking forward to seeing her again.
