Jack Stanley Sewell
Famous Quotes
"I think I have been so blessed because I had 2 good girls praying for me, God doesn't bless those prayed for by skanks."
"Atlanta, GA has any and every restaurant you would like to eat at. Chuck E. Cheese."

Jack was born on February 23, 1951 and crossed over into his Heavenly home for eternity on September 22, 2022, (71 years old).
Jack is survived by his loving family which included his wife of over 22 years, Kathy Sewell of the home in Chester, SC; children: Jeff Sewell (Ashley) and Kayla Jernigan (Cole); grandchildren: Gabriel Lawrence, Emory Sewell, and Adalynn Jernigan; Siblings Kelly Stovall (Dorrence), CL Cobb (John), and Charles Sewell.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Marge Sewell.
Jack was drafted at the age of 18 and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He also served his local community for over 25 years in Law Enforcement with Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office and worked for the International Police Task Force in Bosnia for 2 years. Through his experience, he grew callused on the exterior to protect the enormous heart that resided within. He had a strong passion for helping others. After retirement, the callus began to heal and the size of his heart was very evident. He loved people and in turn, people loved him. He could relate to others of any age as he had a unique wit about him that erupted laughter. He loved his family and friends and brothers and sisters in Christ at Trinity Baptist Church in Indian Land, SC. He lived a very full life and was driven over the course of the last 4.5 years to end well by sharing the love of God through his testimony, caring for his family, and spending time with his friends.
A service will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home Friday, September 30, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Visitation with the family will immediately follow.
