AMES, Iowa -- Services for Kenton C. Cordts, Ames, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ames Baptist Church. Mr. Cordts died of heart failure Feb. 18, 2000, at his home. He was employed in research at Great Lakes Hybrids. He was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the Ames Animal Shelter, Donations Account, 515 Clark Ave., Ames, IA, 50010. Survivors include a sister, Marcia Cordts, Oxford; and brothers, Donald, Davenport, and Stuart, Auburn, Wash.
