DAVENPORT - Services for Beate F. Schutte, 38, of 1402 S. Vermont Ave., will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday at McGinnis, Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf, and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.

She died Friday, April 10, 1992, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport, after an extended illness. She was 38. Mrs. Schutte worked as a secretary for the former USA Financial Services, Davenport.

Beate Jarr was born on April 25, 1953. She married Roger L. Schutte in 1975 in Davenport. She graduated from Scott Community College, Davenport, where she studied computer science.

Her memberships included the church. She enjoyed family, friends and animals, especially horses. Memorials may be made to the family for her daughter's education.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Christina Marie, at home; her parents, Hans and Helen Jarr, Davenport; and a brother, Klaus Jarr, Overland Park, Kan.
