DAVENPORT — Clark D. Plambeck, 62, of Davenport, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Trinity Bettendorf. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at The Runge Mortuary & Crematory. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the family and online condolences can be shared at rungemortuary.com.

Clark was born June 25, 1953, in Davenport, to Melvin and Janice (Keppy) Plambeck. He has been married to Patricia Nelson-Doty, the daughter of Vernon and Agnes Nelson, for 41 years. Clark has been employed for 37 years at ALCOA working on the Hotline.

Clark enjoyed various kinds of fishing, raising his Labradors and was an Iowa Hawkeye and Dallas Cowboys fan. Pigeon racing was also important to him as a member of the Rock Island/Moline Pigeon Club.

Clark had his own speed and was a very loving person, who was proud to be the father he did not have to be. He had a special love for his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Patricia Doty-Plambeck, Davenport; children, Kimberly Smith Whitaker, Davenport, Dawn Evans, Davenport, Ken (Barb) Doty, Montana, and Jason Doty, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Zack, Lena, Kennidee, Grace, Mackenzie, Brandon, Hillarey, Trey, Karley, Brooke, Joseph, Jessicca, Faith, Ryan and Derek; great-grandchildren, Kaedyn and Kora; brothers, Keith Melvin (Pamela) Plambeck, Wisconsin, and Curtis (Karen) Plambeck, Sherrard, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews, including Greg, Christopher, Bradley, Elizabeth, Kacey, Amberly and Erika.
