LuAnn Ritter Parsons, 60, of Corsicana, passed away September 27, 2014 in Corsicana. She was born October 21, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa to Lee and Edith Ritter. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Massey of Corsicana and great nephew Joseph Lee Ritter (of whom she cared and raised as a son); brother, Gary Lee Ritter of Corsicana; sister, Mary Townsend and husband Jeff of Colorado Springs; nephews, Sean Ritter and wife Samantha of Corsicana, Ryan Townsend, Derek Townsend and Mark Townsend all of Colorado; great nephew, Sean Edward Ritter of Corsicana, and extended family member Wanda Davis and husband Jerry. She will be long remembered by family and friends alike for her heart-warming smile and wonderful sense of humor. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Marc Smith and Rev. Don Smith officiating. Rest in peace LuAnn. We are sorry to lose another of our class.
