I remember her telling me in 7th period Psychology class that she discovered we were actually  cousins on my father's side.  We had gone all through high school together & had become friends not knowing we were related. Her grandmother was my father's  sister & it her grandmother that told her we were cousins after hearing Judy talking about me. I remember Judy saying that here we had been  friends  for 3 years & now that we were almost to graduation we found out we were cousins.

I also remember Judy wanting a particular skirt & long vest outfit at Von Maur, then Peterson's, & her sister bought it & let Judy pay it off by babysitting. On a Friday in class she was excited because she was finally getting the outfit over the weekend. Come Monday she did wear the outfit but was so angry by the time I saw her in class. She vowed never to wear the complete outfit together to school again because  "Gail Lavender wore the same outfit" on Monday also & she had never worn it before! As far as I remember  Judy only wore the skirt with a sweater or blouse to school after that day. Oh, to only have those kinds of dilemmas in our lives now.
