David E. Bull, age 68, of Freedom, passed away at 10:35 A.M. on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Dayton, IN on November 30, 1945, the son of Wilson W. & Liala O. Bull. He attended Purdue University. He was the former owner of D & C Truck Sales, Honeybakers Restaurant in Worthington, and Cobblestone Log Homes. He and his wife Peggy currently own and operate Brown County Getaways.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Hume) Bull, a sister, Harriett (Ronald) Berry of Lafayette, a brother, Stanley Bull of Lafayette, a step-daughter, Stephanie (Dean) Egler of Zionsville, a step-son, Lee (Ashley) Robbins of Carmel, a mother-in-law, Mary Hume of Carlisle, four grandchildren, Grace Egler, Phillip Egler, William Egler, & Hallah Robbins, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Monday, November 17, 2014, at 2:00 P.M., Reverend Sam Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00-7:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions be made to the Franklin Township Community Volunteer Fire Dept., through the funeral home.
