Michael “Mike” John Sherman, age 66, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on April 30, 2024. He was born on September 2, 1957, to Anna Mae (Reigle) and the late Dale J. Sherman in Dayton. Mike was in Sales for 25 years at I & K Distributors, where he received numerous awards and recognition for his performance and dedication to his company. He was also a Forklift Driver at Buckeye Boiler, Press Operator at Lord Aerospace, and painted houses in addition to his other positions. He enjoyed fly fishing, golfing, playing baseball, and hunting with his dad, brother, and chosen brothers. Mike lived his life for his family, his girls were his world. He was relentlessly a hard worker to ensure that he was able to provide for his family.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife: Debra “Debi” Sherman, daughters: Jessica Sherman, & Emily Sherman, mother: Anna “Ann” Mae Sherman, grandchildren: Cassidie, & Adrianna “A.J.”, great grandchildren: Magnolia Rayne “Maggie”, & Luca Michael, brother: Larry Sherman, sister: Cindy (Dan) Marinich, uncle: Tom Kretz, father-in-law: Frank Talentino, sister-in-law: Linda (Tim) Hoath, brothers-in-law: Terry (Denise) Talentino, Howard Talentino, & Troy Talentino, chosen brothers: Mike (Lori) Manfreda, & Dave (Tammy) Manfreda, special cousins: Brad (Renee) Ishmael, & Beverly “Bev” Ishmael, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends he leaves to cherish his memory. In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by his aunt and confidant: Betty Kretz, grandmother: Mary “Rig” Reigle, aunt and uncle: Anna “Annie” (Angerer) & Tom Hiem, and mother-in-law: Franny Talentino.
