Jennifer, My beautiful friend, you will forever be missed... I was very blessed to have known you.
As many of you may recall, during our senior year of high school Jennifer was diagnosed with cancer. She underwent chemo, had her spleen removed, went into remission, and still walked across the stage with a smile in May of 1992.
The following year, Jennifer married Scott Wise and later gave birth to a beautiful little girl whom they named Rebecca. Jennifer lived the next five years of her life happy and healthy.
Unfortunately, in 1997 Jennifer became ill and contracted pneumonia. Since Jennifer previously had her spleen removed this left her with a weakened immune system. Jennifers body was unable to fight off the pneumonia and it ultimately took her life. She was only 23 years old, her daughter Rebecca was only 3.
Rebecca was raised by her father Scott, and is now 17 years old! It brings so much joy to my heart to be able to say that she has had a good life and is a beautiful resemblance of her mother! Jennifer would be so proud of her, may she forever be blessed.
