Webster, Rodney B.The world lost one of its sweetest, most gentle souls on March 9, 2014, with the sudden passing of Rodney B. Webster, 49, (Allouez, Wis.) from natural causes. While outwardly quiet, Rodney was a strong man who exuded kindness and found great joy in making the people around him happy. He maintained a positive attitude through any challenges placed before him, creating an aura of contentment that put everyone at ease.Rodney enjoyed life on every level with his wife, best friend and soul mate, Lynn Green. Their love for each other found that perfect spot, where it was evident to all without being over the top. The twinkle in Rodney's eye let you know he was more in love with his bride each day than the day before.Together they traveled the world, explored the wonders of nature near and far, and created a spectacular botanical garden around their home. Rodney's favorite plants are daffodils and edibles, and his spring daffodil creation is a sight to behold.Rodney was proud to have served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was a Mustang, meaning he rose through the ranks of enlisted personnel to officer status. He began his Navy career as a corpsman, serving with the Fleet Marine Force, and became a commissioned officer upon completing the Bachelor of Physician Assistant Studies program at the University of Wisconsin. His career as a physician assistant (PA) allowed him to extend his compassion to patients and their families. He was a natural caregiver, always looking out for the people and animals in his life. His mission work as a PA in Honduras demonstrated his commitment to helping all people.Rodney was a father figure to his brother and sisters, and a favorite uncle for numerous nieces and nephews, whether through blood or friendship. He took special pride in serving as a role model, godfather and willfather for some of his most cherished young people. Each of these children was very special to him.Family history was one of Rodney's passions, and he delighted in creating spectacular slide shows for family functions. He digitized old photos for future generations and would appreciate the detail of dates, places and names in this narrative. Rodney's family has a long history at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church, where Rodney is a member and attended grade school.Rodney was born Jan. 21, 1965, to the late Warren E. Webster and Ruth Gertrude (Blauert) Webster, and grew up on the family farm in Morrison. He was a member of De Pere High School's class of 1983.In addition to his wife, Rodney is survived by his brother, John; and three sisters, Robin (Mark) Dequaine, and their children Leah and Adam; Ailene Macco and her children Kathy, Michael and Claudia; and Penny Webster.Rodney provided a glowing example of how to live life through a commitment to professional and personal excellence.
