Good morning Cougars! (and I don't mean just the older ladies)

I've been back to work for two weeks, and feeling much better. The doctor told me no more than 4 hours / day, but it's so easy (and fun) to slide right back into 12 - 12 - 14 / days.

We finally sold our house. We were facing three mortgage payments in this glorious economy, but God is good. Our buyers agreed to close on the same day we close on our new home (March 30th). Obama: Can you stop talking down the economy and tell Pelosi to keep her pie hole shut!

Has anyone listened to 'Dark Side of the Moon' lately? I listened to it for 4 weeks, non-stop. It's a masterpiece!

Hey Robert, glad to see your up & around, but you should follow doctor's orders so you don't end up back in pain. I am so glad the house situation is working out for you, I got stuck with 3 house payments for a year, this current house I live in has 2 mortgages & then the old house. We bought this house January 04, & sold the old house April 05. It was a pain in the ass.

Never was a fan of Pink Floyd.

You really need to move your butt over to Facebook. It has everyone we graduated with over there...even your boy Dan. And Earl is the life of the party.

April Passen (Ochman) I wish you well with your move & settling in. I know it's a mixed feeling, new fresh environment...mixed with overwhelmed to much to do at once. Good luck & keep the positive attitude. And good idea to avoid facebook until settled, it is as addictive as this place once was, but much more possiblities of others being signed on to keep you locked in.

Hi everybody.

Happy spring. Been in the garden most days. Working other days to support my gardening habit.

A quick update on my life.

Husband came home from a week long business trip to Mexico and three days later the swine flu reports began. No one sick here but his paranoid co-worker was sure he had it and had given it to his daughter and wife. He didn't.

At Easter break,I took my oldest son Brad to the doctor as he had not been feeling well. Long story short, he has been diagnosed with Type I (juvenile) Diabetes, insulin dependant. There is no history of diabetes in mine or my husband's families so this really came out of no where and kick our butts. He is doing great now. What a trooper!

I am planning a trip in late June with my mom and two sisters to go to Reno. We are going to surprise my oldest sister with a weekend visit. (she lives there) She is turning 50 years old. She has no idea we are coming! Should be a hoot! We will be going to Lake Tahoe for part of the time. Never been before and am looking forward to it. There will be lots of drinking and singing and jokes about getting old.

What is up with the rest of you?

I have so missed you! So sorry to hear about your son's diabetes, but I know his Mom is strong enough & smart enough to help him adjust.

Everyone is over on Facebook these days, even Dan, but minus Robert & Bill, & yourself. We would love to have you all come join us.

Personally...I'm doing good, after a long hard winter, I now have taken the cabin fever to the bar once a week, after 7 years of going no where or doing nothing except things pertaining to my children...I now have adult interaction beyond the internet...all though the transition is hard, I do facebooking while at the bar...LOL Bust out in public to search for my virtual friends.

Anyhow...I seen a good joke to add to your hubby trip...
