Does anyone know where Barb was stationed in the Navy?

Barbara Grob was my best friend in 1st grade. She lived in the house on Elon between Highview and Gulley. We used to watch Batman at her house and her mom would make buttered popcorn for us. The Boyduy tv set always seemed to have a burned out tube. She had a swing set and dogs. Very cool place to hang out. We always tried to get into the boys' fort on the empty lot on Warren and Highview, but they wouldn't let us in. So we just climbed the elms and called them our secret forts. Good vantage point to see what the boys were doing. She could hula hoop nonstop. Mine just fell to the ground every time I tried. May God bless her and keep her safe in heaven.

The reason I asked about where Barb was stationed in the Navy is because I think I saw her. She looked very familiar but I couldn't place who she was. I was stationed at NAS Lemoore in California and I saw her in the chow hall for about 2 weeks. She would sit about two tables from me and she would smile at me as if she knew me. She was always in uniform. I don't know if she was working in the chow hall or not or if she was transient and in between stations. But years later when I was looking through our class book I put two and two together. This was about late 1974 or early 1975 when I saw her. My brother Mark was a Navy Seabee stationed in Guam for about 6 months. I wish I would have went and talked to her. I'm not 100% sure that it was her, but I think more that it was than not. I knew who Barb was in school but I never really talked to her except to say Hello. I did run into Rick Urban aka Cricket in Lemoore when his squadron from Washington state had a short det to Lemoore once.
