DECATUR — Funeral service for Mr. Carl James Collins, age 76, who died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at his residence will be today, April 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with O.D. Bowling officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Sandra Pickens Collins; one brother, Joe Collins; and several nephews and nieces. He was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Morgan County to Horace Collins and Leona Black Collins.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Collins and Leona Black Collins; and one sister, Molly Jean Grisham.
Mr. Collins was a proud U.S. Marine veteran. He was retired from General Electric Company of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Vince Lamberti, David Grisham, Rusty Smith, Mike Horn, Johnny Horn, and Justin Horn.
