I remember Byron as one of the neatest guys at DHS. It was great getting to chat with Byron at our 50th reunion. While on our tour of DHS, we strolled through the hallway near the cafeteria. He told me that he never ate lunch in the cafeteria. Since he lived in a nearby neighborhood, he always walked home to enjoy lunch. He was a typical teenager of the 1950s. The picture of Byron working at Clemons Drug Store is priceless and is sure to be a memorable treasure to his family and to us, his classmates. A blessed farewell to a good friend.
